Teasel seed is generally administered in small quantities from finger draws or shallow dishes. Teasel seeds can be fed any time throughout whole of the year and increased during breeding and moulting periods. Small seed-eaters such as Goldfinches in-particular enjoy eating teasel seed when provided.
